II, III,IV .Dedicated to the German botanist ,Sir Richard Schomburgk (1811-1891),who explored British Guiana with his brother ,Sir Robert ,from 1835 to 1838 and from 1840 to 1844 ,discovering the type material of this genus . He later (1865) became Director of the Botanic Garden ,Adelaide , Australia .
