Aerangis ellisii grandiflora: very showy white flowers on medium sized plant . A classic example of the `Birds in Flight' Aerangis. The largest species in the genus with nectar spurs reaching 11 inches long. One of the larger-flowered Aeranthes, this fantastic species features 4" wide, creamy, greenish-white, spidery flowers produced on long, brack-covered spikes. These seedlings will eventually have 10" long, bright green leaves. An easily-grown species, larger plants will branch around the base. Spikes may be staked, or allowed to dangle freely.

Origin: Madagascar.
