Aerangis kirkii

Flowers of all the representatives of the genus Aerangis are their fairly long spus containing nectar to attract pollinators . The white flowers of the species A. kirkii are likewise equipped with arched spurs ,up to 1.6 .in /4 cm long .In a similar manner to the other Aerangis orchids ,the leaves of A.kirkii are unsymmetrically ended (along a horizontal axis)- the tip of each leaf assumes the shape of round lobes of various sizes,divided from each other by a central nerve. The leaves are typically arranged in two raws. The plant blooms in winter and spring.

Origin : Madagascar.
