Bulbophyllum gadgarrense commonly known as The Gadgar Bulbophyllum [refers to an area in Australia] This species prefers cold to warm temperatures and constant moisture and humidity, mounted on tree fern in semi-shade where there is good air movement and is found as an epiphyte on cloud or rainforest trees with mossy bark above the elevation of 700 meters that blooms on a thick, basal, 1/8" [5 mm] raceme that has brown, papery sheaths covering the ovary with several flowers that is held above the leaves. The original home of Bulbophyllum gadgarrense is Queensland Australia .
