dendrobium-bellatulum

A miniature gem with large flowers -that is the only description worthy of this dwarf semi-deciduous orchid. The very thick spindle -shaped pseudobulbs are not bigger than 2.8 in/7 cm and the nodes of their grooves give rise to single white flowers with a stunning orange-to-yellow lip, that are up to 1.6 in /4 cm in diameter. Rules of cultivation go along the same lines as with the deciduous Dendrobium orchids. The plant blooms between the fall and spring ,and is native to Thailand, southern China,Burma and India.
