dendrobium-gratiosissimum

If you manage to provide these specimens with the right cultivation conditions, they reward you with stunning flowers! Several whitish flowers with purple-edged tepals and orange -and-yellow,white line-lip,grow from each of the individual joints . Ideally ,two thirds of the surface of the thin ,extended (up to 16in/40 cm), overhanging pseudobulb can be covered with flowers ! Cultivation is not very complicated -during the vegitation period (spring to fall), the plant requirs good nutrotion , plenty of water and warmth,as opposed to a significantly drier and cooler winter break . After that , sit back and look forward to the early spring when the leafless pseudobulbs produce a large number of fantastic flowers . D.gratiosissimum comes from the southeast of India ,southwest of China,Thailand ,Burma and Laos.
