This slightly atypical representative of the genus will please it scultivators mainly with its ball-shaped ,tiny (0.8-1.6 in/2-4 cm),radically reduced pseudobulbs . Its flowers are not very durable and attract less attention: they are 1.2 in /3 cm large,whitish ,with a violet veining on the lip . They appear in great multitudes ,3-6 on each of the erect stalks that grow out of the apices of the new ,usually bifoliate,pseudobulbs . This botanical curiocitu's cultivation needs do not differ from those of other representives of the genus . It blooms in early spring and comes from Thailand and the sorrounding countries .
