demdrobium-macrophyllumThe pseudobulbs of this species are club -shaped ,up to 12 in /30 cm long and they bear a pair of large (hence the Latin name),leathry ,longish , oval leaves . The greenish -white -to -yellowish ,bizarre looking flowers grow in a sparse raceme out of the apex of the foliaged pseudobulb. The outer parts of their sepals are very hairy and each of the robust lips is embellished with a beautiful brown marking . The plant comes from relatively warm and moist areas -the rules of epiphytic or pot cultivation need to be adapted to this .
