Orchids of the genus Dendrochilum are of particular interest to admires of orchid curiosities. Their flowers are not endowed with individual beauty ,but stand out as a group. If you considerd only large -flowered species to be ''genuine orchids'', you had better ignore the whole Dendrochilum genus. D. weriselii resembles the previouly mentioned species(and all the other 130 representatives of the genus) in the morphology of the green parts . Its flowers are brick red , with the bottom parts colored in yellowish green . There are a tottal of 40 of them arranged in two opposite rows ,and they bloom almost simultaneously ,starting at the bottom . Cultivation rules are almost identical with those that apply to the previous species . If a specimen blooms in the fall ,the tepals tend to get insufficient coloring . The plants bloom between the spring and fall and they are known to grow,among other places ,in the Philippines .
