A pretty ,small species with rather large and nicely colored flowers . Its moisture requirements are a little above average, which makes E. garciana attractive for owners of small, poorly ventilated cultivation equipment . The elongated pseudobulbs bear 1-2 gray -and -green ,4 in /10 -cm- long leaves with lengthwise grooves . The flowers are quite showy and there are 1-3 of them to each short spike ;they are 1.6 in /4 cm in diameter , with am triangular profile . The whitish tepals are covered with delicate purple spots and the lip is colored in green -and -white . Grow it either epiphytically (make sure to prvide more frequent misting),or better still ,in epiphytic substrate in a flowerspot. The plant blooms in the fall and comes from Venezuela .
