A very showy orchid with bifoliate pseudobulbs stems and impressively shaped flowers . It will drow your attention also to be color its flowers that ranges between green and green -and -yellow. The flowers reach lengths of 2 in /5cm and are arranged in a dense inflorescence that bears a tottal of 4-8 flowers . Each flower is dominated by a broad,circular lip, slightly ''folded ''along the central nerve. This species is quite easy to grow -either epiphytically ,or in a coarse mix in flowerpots . Flowers appear in the spring or fall. The plant was discovered in Venezuela.
