The genus Epidendrum has given plent of trouble to systematic botanists -a high number of Orchidaceae have been repetedly included in it, only to be ''redeployed '' to completely different orchid genera. In addition to that ,new species can still be discovered in the wild countryside of Latin America-possibly including two as -yet - unclassified plants photographed in Gran Saban,Venezuela,one of them in the unique local Monte Roraima(Table Mountain ).
