gastrochilus-obliquus

An abuntantly flowering representative of the Gastrochilus genus. In contrast to the previous species ,its stem is shortened ,and the leaves are larger and fleshier . The flowers are 1 in /2.7 cm across and there are up to 25 of them on a short spike ,forming a very dense raceme . Their tepals are deep yellow and covered with delicate red dots ,the lip is white ,dotted ,with a showy red spot on the base . Grow G. obliquus much like the previous species. The flowers appear between November and December. The presented plant was photographed in Thailand.
