This orchid is ecologically very similar to the previous two species . Its bodily proportions are more than likeable -2.4 in/6 -cm-long pseudobulbs,tough ,erect leaves that reach lengths of up to 4.8 in/12 cm. The flowers resemble L. autumnalis in color and shape ,only they are sometimes a shade lighter . They bloom on a 12-in / 30-cm -long flower spike that bears 2-5 flowers giving off pleasant fragrance .L. furfuracea produces flowers in the winter and grows epiphytically in the nature of Mexico (in the mountainous region of Oaxaca in altitudes up to 8,850 ft /2,700 m above sea level).
