Miltonia flavescens

The plants bifoliate ,2.8 -in /7 -cm -tall pseudobulbs are stored in a trailing rhizome ;this morphological trait is featured on all Miltonia orchids.M.flavescens differs from the other species in the appearance of its flowers ,which are whitish all over and sport exteremely narrow ,elongated tepals . The flowers (6-12 at a time )are arranged in sparse erect raceme. The lip is adorned with an inconspicuous red marking . Cultivation requirements of the species are not different from those of the two preceding species . The plants bloom between May and August and are native to Brazil and Paraguay.
