Miltonioides reicheheimii

As with many others ,this orchid also used to be included in the genus Odontoglossum. In orchid literature ,you can also come across it under the name Miltonia reichenheimii . It has oval,bifoliate pseudobulbs reaching lengths of 4 in/10 cm, while its thin leaves can be up to 12 in/ 30 cm long . The flower raceme bears numerous flowers and reaches a height of 24 in /60 cm. The large flowers ,up to 2.4 in /6 cm across,are yellow with large brown spots. The delicate composition is complemented by a broad lip that ranges in color between light purple and white . Flowers appear between May and August .M. reichenheimii is native to the mountain forests of Mexico.
