Nidema boothii

This small ,undemanding orchid popular with collocters is the only representative of its genus . Its triling rhizome produces club-shaped pseudobulbs that grow at disstances of about 1 in/2-3 cm from each other and reach lengths of 2.4 in/6 cm. They bear one or two lineated leaves that are 6 in / 15 cm long. Sparse inflorescences grow out of the apices of the new pseudobulbs . The plant's cream -white flowers are quite large and attractive . The species has no particular demands - it thrives on a wooden support in semi-shade . In the winter , you can reduce temperature and watering a little . The flowers appear in the fall and the plants come from Central America(an area between Mexico ,Panama, Cuba and Surinam ).
