Paphiopedilum-ciliolare

A likeable species with a rather unusually compact and small flower. It is quite rare in collections . Its leaves are about 6 in /15 cm long ,and it is approximately 8 -in/20-cm-long flower spike bears a single flower with a white ,purple-veined upper seapel and petels densely speckled with dark dots.It requires similar handling as other Paphiopedilum orchids but does not do extremely well in culture overall. It blooms between April and June and it is Known to grow in the Philippines.
