Paphiopedilum randsii

This Venus's shoe is epiphytic ,quite sizeable and very charming when in bloom . Its leaves are up to 14 in /35 cm long , flabby and often hanging ''life-lessly '' downward from thick branches or tree crotches . The lip is brown -and - green ; the other tepals are whitish and very notably decorated with vertical dark purple stripes . Grow the plant in a medium-light humic substrate in a suspended flowerpot . Do not ever let the substrate dry up completely .P. randsii blooms in the summer and comes from Mandanaa,Philippines.
