Phalaenopsis aphroditae

This orchid resembles P. amabilis in apperance ,except that it is a little smaller .Its flowers are white ,2.4 -3.2 in/ 6-8 cm in diameter,with a yellow and purple marking on the red lip. The flagellated protuberances on the lip's middle lobe are very long and twisted .Grow this species in the same way as other Phalaenopsis orchids. Flowers can be expected in the winter . The plant comes from the Philippines and Thaiwan.
