Phalaenopsis lobbii

A beautiful miniature for small amteur green houses and indoor glass cases . The plant resembles P. parishii and takes up little space -its drooping leaves are barely 4 in /10 cm long. The flowers are small but showy and there are 3-8 of them growing on each short overhanging spike . The decorative look of the plant is enhanced by the fact that it forms several inflorescences atonce . The snow -white flowers are vertically elongated and adorned with a broadned lip with a coffee-brown marking . The species blooms in the winter and spring and comes from the jungles in Southeast Asia .
