Stanhopea florida is a brilliant multi-flowered orchid with 2.4 -2.8 in /6-7 cm large ,whitish , purple -spoted flowers . It is slightly more humid-loving than other Stanhopeas ,otherwise the cultivation requirements are the same as for the whole genus .Stanhopea florida plant blooms in January and February and , besides Ecuador ,also inhabits Peru.
