Its pseudobulbs are robust , up to 3.2 in /8 cm tall, ended with one lanceolate ,lengthwise -waved leaf reaching alength of 10 in/25 cm. The proportions of the plant are in stark contrast to the minuscule proortions of the tiny (0.4 -0.8 in/1-2 cm across) red and white blossoms ,densely crowded on an inflorescence bearing 5-8 of them.
