reichb. f. xen . Orchid . ii. 168 , t. 3 , f. 6-9 ; stem cylindric , leaves cuneately oblong –ligulate , raceme few-fld ., rachis and sepals , triangular , petals linear –lanceolate , lip cuneately dilated 3-fld , side lobes obtusely angled , isthumus narrow, midlobe obcordate , disk 3-keeled .

Pseudobulbs cylindric , 4-5 by in. Leaves acuminate . Bracts 7 –nerved , 1/3 as long as the pedicel with ovary . Flowers pale straw-colour with red nerves ; lip dark purple , midlobe pale yellow ; androclinium immersed , foot with two small horns in the hollow .-Description from Reichb.
