Griff. Notul iii. 302 ( not of Lindl.) ;stem clavate , internodes very short , leaves elliptic -lanceolate , scape very short lateral 2-fld ., bracts ovate-cordate , flowers very small glabrous , sepals oblong -lanceolate and linear-oblong petals obtuse 3-nerved , mentum short imcurved , lip elliptic obtuse , disk with 2 broad lamellae and a median ridge , column very short .

SIKKIM HIMALAYA ( Ic. Herb .Calcutt.) TENASSERIM ; at Mergui , Griffith .
Stems 4-6 in .,tufted ,slender below ; internodes ½ in., terete . Leaves 3 in .
Scape 1/8 in.; bracts twice as long ; flower ¼ in . diam ., yellow –white .-The Sikkim habitat is from a drawing of a garden specimen . Lindley , in founding his Eria biflora on Griffith’s Trichotosia biflora , overlooked Griffith’s Eria biflora .
