MALABAR ; on the Bababoodan Hills , Jerdon & c. ; Travancore , Johnson .
Pseudobulbs ½ -3/ 4in . diam ., crowded . Leaves 1 in., dark green or purplish . Flowers 1/3 in.long , tawny ; pedicel very short , with a very broad ciliate bract, and many subsimilar sheaths; dorsal sepal orbicular –ovate , 5-nerved , united lateral concave .
