Hook .f. Plant . ined .; stem clothed with very long sheaths , leaves 12-14 in.grass-like , spikes solitary short shortly peduncled dense-fld., bracts minute , mentum short rounded , lip minute cup-shaped obtusely pointed .

Stem swollen at the base ; internodes few , long ; basal sheaths long , freee, acuminate , lower 3-4 in., upper 4-6 in. Leaves unilaterally acuminate ,many –nerved . Spike and peduncle 2 in .; flowers 1/10 in.; sepals gland-dotted; petals elliptic ; lip very curious , like a short round-bottomed cup attached by the margin with a broad oblique mouth produced in front.-Only one specimen seen.
